BUILDING A NATION
OF LIFESAVERS
The majority of cardiac arrests happen in the home, but only 2% of people in India are trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). More than 130,000 deaths each year are caused by roadside accidents, but 80% of roadside accident victims get no emergency care.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation of India is launching a movement to build a nation of lifesavers, training friends and family in first aid and CPR in just 1 training session. Everyone needs to know how to save the life of a family member or loved one.
