Building A Nation Lifesavers
Most cardiac arrests happen in the home, but only 2% of people in India are trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). More than 130,000 deaths each year are caused by roadside accidents, but 80% of roadside accident victims get no emergency care.
The Heart and Stroke Foundation of India is launching a movement to build a nation of lifesavers, training friends and family in first aid and CPR. Learn how to save the lives of the ones you love.
First Aid EverywhereTM

Helping Children Survive
45 of every 1,000 children in India
die before the age of 5 years

A health system quality improvement program designed to improve survival rates of children younger than 5 years.
India bears the highest burden of under-5 deaths worldwide. Training equips community and hospital healthcare providers with skills to recognize and stabilize severely ill children, working to give every child a chance for a strong future.
